Case 14: | Interior designer, 33 years old. |
Main Injury: | Cervical and mid-chest pain, lumbar light pain. |
Description: |
The patient started the treatment in January/2014 and complained about cervical pain and torticollis. The month before starting the treatment, her thoracic spine "got stuck" and had to go through a drug therapy at the hospital. She already was going through a headache treatment since she was 16, which the latter got worse whenever the patient did physical activities. By now, she attended 73 sessions. During the treatment, there were sessions where she felt no pain (from the 30th session - 9 months after starting the treatment) and session in which she felt sporadic aches, such as pain on the TMJ (temporomandibular joint), and trapezius muscle and rhomboid stress. In the pictures, we have a December/2013 x-ray (when her thoracic area "got stuck") and another one from January/2015, showing a significant toracolumbar scoliosis improvement. The patient has been carrying out the posture maintenance nowadays, only feeling sporadic light aches. |
Case 13: | Student, 11 years old. |
Main Injury: | Lumbar scoliosis, presenting a convexity to the left. |
Description: |
In November/2014, the patient started the RPG and Sohier treatment, since her mother noticed the girl's waist was "different", comparing its left and right sides. She noticed such fact 3 months before starting the treatment. It is important to say the patient did not feel any pain, which would make it hard to notice this spine misalignment, whether it be from her parents or herself. 25 sessions (each one per week) were carried out. On July/2015, as a gradual improvement has been shown, biweekly sessions were now carried out, resulting in 34 sessions up to this day. The pictures show the situation before and after the treatment. We may notice an excellent improvement on the lumbar convexity. |
